This site is dedicated to thinkers. Its purpose is to test the boundaries of your mind and emotions. It is designed to explore issues we face today, often with controversial content. It is designed to make you think and feel more deeply than the “meme” culture allows. The writings I give to you, the reader, may sometimes be long, but they will always make you think.
While the media likes to blast alerts and explore issues in three or four paragraphs, I feel that the issues we face today deserve more. They require an intellectual and emotional exploration to understand how we, as a Nation, have gotten to where we are and understand where we are going. Sometimes I can summarize those points with a sentence or two. Sometimes I can summarize an issue with a few paragraphs. Often, the issues will require more. But it will always make you think.
This is not a blog or a page that will post easy reading. You may have to read my posts several times to understand the full extent of its content. You may be frustrated by posts that can run as long as five printed pages. But it will always make you think.
On occasion I will post something that will touch your heart. I hope to touch the emotional side of you that is so important to your intellectual self. On occasion, I will post something that will make you angry. Good. On occasion, I may change your mind. Often, I will simply reaffirm that which you thought you knew, but could not quite put your finger on it. Regardless, if you follow this site, you might get the occasional chuckle or tears, but you will always be forced to THINK.
There are no comfort zones here. Thinking is not a comfortable endeavor. It is a necessary one.
I welcome dissenting views. I will posit positions that may make you feel uncomfortable. I will test the boundaries of that which is often considered a taboo subject. But regardless, your mind will be engaged by my Constitutionalist’s perspective and that will make you think.
This Nation needs more thinkers.
Thank you for following me.
